Wow finally!!! Ty BGA team and James!!
Edit:
Just finished my 2nd game. I was hoping to skip the tally animation, like how Wingspan operates, and when I reloaded the page during this animation, the scorecard template was left unfilled. I could see who won on the header and Game Results tab though. Maybe I should have waited for the animation to end. Otherwise, it ran pretty smoothly!

I read some really unhappy comments in the beta threads not too long ago. Can anyone confirm this is actually ready for prime time?

I am absolutely thrilled!
Thank you so much to BGA, to the developer, to Jamey and Stonemair.
This is good news. Woot woot!

I've played it about a dozen times in beta over a year ago and I've never had a single issue with it. Honestly I have no idea why the full release took so long.

This is awesome. I hope they get the final two factions released soon.
Not likely. Jamey is very public with Stonemaier's policy of only putting base games on BGA, no expansions.

Awesome, I'm looking forward to checking it out.

I have no experience of playing Scythe and so tried it without any preconceptions. My main impressions were negative for the following reasons:
1. The theme is a weird mashup of 1920s history, mechs from another era and talking animals that remind me most of the Golden Compass. It was unconvincing and so spoilt immersion.
2. The interface was quite difficult to read as the icons were not intuitive and there were no tooltips or any obvious ready-reference.
3. The game strategy seemed too much of a tickbox. It felt a bit like Dune Imperium but that game is outstanding in building tension in a thematic way but this game isn't.
So, I'd rate it as nothing special but would be prepared to try it again to see if I missed something.

This is funny because the alt history theme with seemingly anachronistic mechs is exactly what is appealing to many people about Scythe. Playing the physical game so you're actually manipulating the minis is even better. Some people really get into it by
painting their minis.

wait a minute... hasn't Scythe been here for a while?
