Hey Jay good post, would you take it at all as Credicor on tharsis when you obviously going for TR rush in the initial draft? Is it smart to at least speculate on it for 2p? On Hellas I am taking it no matter what
I am talking about a hand with large convoy heat prod plus x3 power, capital but with mining and huge asteroid as prelude. So we are buying 5 cards, no indication of going anywhere near science. Ai would be the 6th card yet not going to delay gen1 heat prod san sabo.
If my opener is pure rush? Probably not. I will sometimes still spec on AIC in these spots and I almost always wind up regretting the wasted cash. Every once in a while I do find myself needing to pivot out and play a longer game so when I do speculate on it I often will buy it knowing I'm probably throwing away 2 cash, but it is good at doing what it does when you need that and have to pivot away from a tempo line that just doesn't pan out (perhaps you get triple milestoned and a chunk of points you would usually need to win a fast game are not available as an example).

I bring it up bc obviously in both our minds we know wr should toss it, any other cards we wouldn't even think twice. For example I would even toss Olympus if I know I am rushing that hard with credicor, same with anti grav of course.
I believe that demonstrates how powerful AI truly is, like I said I think the card became a milestone of the game itself. In a full rush top elo matches, I have experienced game that none funds a single milestone since none of the players threatened 2 in a 6 gen game. I am comparing funding a milestone to AI, sure if you played like an engine you do not need it, but it would be unnatural and you have to play perfectly. If you speculate on AI it's chaotic but like securing a milestone a huge swing and winning in for human moves.

WHAT is the big deal about AI central ??/
Requires 3 science tags and energy production and then costs 21 + 3. Maybe the cards you draw are dust seals and underground detonations.
I don't lose to AI central. I lose to decomposers, viral enhancers, Ecological zone, Arctic algae, giant ice, Deimos, Big asteroid, etc.

You lose to AI Central because it draw to combos like decomposers, viral enhancers, Ecological zone, Arctic algae, giant ice, Deimos, Big asteroid, etc.

Heh. no sooner than I was asking what the big deal about AI central is, I drew Cartel as Teractor with 6 earth tags on my first pull from AI central.
