Unfortunately the BGA mods aren’t anti-AI. In fact, they can’t live without it. Every single one of their announcements reeks of chatGPT copy-pasted nonsense.
You are ignorant of how these models work and your artist is lying to you. Training a model like this takes significant resources and millions of inputs, plus human-reinforcement learning on the orders of years. They generated these images with one of the frontier diffusion models.Unigoat_Edition wrote: ↑14 August 2026, 22:43To clarify the process: the images were created by Guillaume Alarie, the game's author. He trained his own AI model exclusively on his own original artwork, which the model then used to generate a base set of illustrations.CoreyHardt wrote: ↑14 August 2026, 14:28 We pay for subscriptions here, I don't enjoy seeing crappy AI spam across the front page of the website.
Plenty of good games to find and adapt that aren't regurgitated junk like this.
Nah, it's worse than that. They know full well they just had a clanker plagiarize a bunch of images for their lazy game and are hoping that *we* are the ignorant ones and will buy that utterly insulting response.BusError wrote: ↑16 August 2026, 14:40You are ignorant of how these models work and your artist is lying to you.
