Maybe Fulchur and I (and many thousands of others) disagree with your assessment of BGA as "mediocre."
Anyway, if it's so bad, you know where the nearest exit is.
If it is so great why you even bothered to answering

. Go enjoy it, don't spend time answering, it is so great, take every second of that experience.
If it's so mediocre, why are you still here spewing negativity?
I responded because I'm casually enjoying my breakfast while browsing the forums.

I already answered that

You don't think maybe there's a less rude and abrasive way to approach this matter?
Perhaps not using an eye roll emoji every time you make a snippy remark?

If I were a pessimist, I might suggest that your lack of concern regarding people quitting / timing out has something to do with your astounding 59 clock violations in 330 games.
(Should I add an eye-roll emoji here?)

You can. Why not. But if you would knew how Then Gang game is programed you would know that very often all players end with timeout, but you would have to forget for a minute how everything is great here and how grateful you are so better don't think to much, and don't dig to deep.
And seems like 37 of those timeouts are from The Gang game, 0 from ARENA games I play and 0 from play by mail games. All from real time ones, where 1 need of page refresh can set you to negative timer.
PS: Don't forget to add that I have 1 quit or kick out in those 330 games too.

Thank you for the info. If I decide to try out Then Gang, I'll keep in mind that it might not be ideal for fast real-time settings.

I'll agree that it's annoying how often games require a refresh for one reason or another. It's one of the reasons I rarely play real time, and why I usually don't use the fastest setting.
My personal programming knowledge doesn't go deep enough to know what's going on deep within the infrastructure to cause this problem.
And, to be fair, there are some things about BGA that frustrate me and that I wish were done differently. I do still consider it great value.
I'm not in any way knowledgeable about their finances, but I imagine they don't have a lot of revenue. Premium memberships likely don't generate all that much, and I'm not sure how much outside revenue there is. Does the site have ads if people are not premium members? Maybe there is advertising revenue? I don't know.

A co-op Texas hold'em game sounds interesting, but I wouldn't want to play it turn-based (sounds like that would be a chore), and it sounds sub-optimal for real time if the page needs to be refreshed a lot. I suppose the good news is that people aren't likely to expel a player ion a co-op game merely for being a few seconds over time.
