For me that works to 100% in 2 player games, in multi player games I occasianally get 1 player from higher tan my option indicated, but tbh I can tolerate that (at least I have a fair chance to reach the 2nd position.
Where and how do I set that? I am starting it from Play Now and I did search for options, but it seems I'm too blind to find them...
Please help

OmG, I found it.
First very noticeable change is that I'm waiting a lot longer for opponents, which is logical.
My next opponent was still way better than I, but not that much anymore.
I still lost, but not by such a margin anymore.
Getting better...

It does depend who is around to play games - as you note, setting restrictions makes it take longer to find games because there are fewer opponents at that level (not in all games, but possibly in whatever you happen to be playing). Especially at this point in the season, a lot of people will be at a higher level. Bear in mind though that everyone is moved back a level at the end of the season, so you may find yourself playing people who have a bronze level, but play with a higher level of skill. Yes, use the settings to restrict your opponents, but you may expect to just lose quite a bit until your own skills improve anyway. Arena is a good place to learn from better players as well I find.

Is there any thought to allowing demotions, at least from Elite? In games with any amount of luck, anyone can grind to elite with enough volume. Towards the end of a season in Azul, for example, you can find 100 ELO players in Elite. So setting your preferences to only play with your level does nothing to increase the level of competition.

The fact that the winner does not receive any points when Arena Season ended and the winner is determined over time is not very satisfying.

In this way many losers of the games stop playing and sit out the games.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I can’t find the answer -
How do you find out your position once the season is over? I can’t find any way of finding out which position I finished in, or am I missing some thing?

Go to that game's lobby (for example, search for it using the search function in the top left of most pages) and scroll down to "My Arena history."

Thanks so much, that’s exactly what I needed to know. I’d never have found it without help 👍
