Some very good bans! Looking forward to playing this season with the new ruleset, lets see how it works out.

Thank you, Acerbic. This banlist update was badly needed.

Really like the new bans! Also the 9->8 draft is welcome too! :3

First impression; Lots of diferent strategies, lots of playable cards and significant lower scores across the board. I like the bans and new (old) draft format.
Played some games with collector and it just felt like a breeze to victory. I think it is way too strong in this format. The card in insanely fun but way too strong.

I'm really sad to see an E-deck card get banned because those cards were tested for like 10 years. But of course, they decided to print an untested upgraded Guest Room instead of the version that was tested a bunch and definitely balanced.
(the original version that I designed didn't trigger the round you played it - you could only choose to remove food at the start of each round. It was above average of course, but not OP)

Agreed. It is very strange to me why they also changed other E-deck cards that were totally fine, like Lazybones, that didn't need a buff.

How.on earth did beer table not get banned with the current batch. A mindlessly easy to set up 10 points in 90+ percent of games. Crazy.

I‘m also absolutely for banning beer table. It’s so strong in the current arena settings. Even with fairly inefficient play it seems to guarantee 2nd place at least and feels especially strong in late growth.

Ban Archway please. It is very efficient points and easy to play, but most important imo is the annoyance factor: it prolongs the game and screws with placement choices.
