Hi Drake, and all!!

The final will be played in its entirety on Saturday, May 17th.
At 11:00 a.m., a 4-player round will be played on the South Korea map, followed by another 4-player round on the Europe map at 2:00 p.m.
The top four finishers will advance to the last table, which will feature the USA map but with the four modified tickets from the 1910 expansion and will be played at 4:00 p.m.
The final will be streamed on Twitch, but the exact location is still unknown.
I'm looking forward to the day, especially to meet my teammates from so many online games in person!!

So crazy. Should just flip a coin to see who wins!

At the very least they should have done the 3 multi-player games and cut to a top 4 or even top 2 for 2P best of 3!

It will be a bit hard for me to make an extensive commentary here ! It's not easy to get the details of the games via Twitch.
The semifinals just ended. After a last place on the Korean map, elric_s made a great second game, with a nice track from Moscow to Palerma, via Paris, and scored 125 pts to win his ticket for the finale.
BalduvianHorde won his first game, and finished 3rd in Europe ->4 pts, qualified
ExaltedAngel and daedin28 ended 2nd of their two games -> 4 pts, qualified.

Elric_S and Cournot had a bad start in their semifinals, losing their first games, but both of them showed they were real competitors, as they did not lose hope, and came back stronger than ever for their second games. Both of them won their Europe game, reaching 3 pts... the same score than will_will (winner of the Korean map, but 4th of the European one). The tiebreakers chosen seemed to be the sum of their scores in the two semifinals... and with 225 pts, Elric_S won his ticket !

My report

1st game Korea

Korea table 1: Will 130 Daedin 124 Scorps 100 Cournot 51
Korea Table 2; Balduvian 151 Angel 118 Nyan-cat 118 Elric 110

We saw table 1... it was close Daedin seemed to have the best route but Will played a wonderful tactic of small tix. Cournot and scorps had trouble connecting destinations.

Angel is second and Nyan-Cat 3rd for tiebreaker.
Ranking after game 1
1) Balduvian 3 (151) 2) Will 3 (130) 3) Daedin 2 (124) 4) Angelo 2(118) 5) Nyan-cat 1 (118) 6) Scorps 1 (100) 7) Elric 0 (110) 8) Cournot 0 (51)

2nd Game Europe.

Table 1: Elric 125 Daedin 115 Balduvian 96 Will 94
Table 2: Cournot 125 Angelo 110 3rd Nyan 4th Scorps

We have seen again only table 1 Elric and Daedin with good movement in the east side of the map. Balduvian and Will fight in the central part ... balduvian 3rd because he has a good combo with many points cad-sto fra-smo

Ranking

1) Balduvian 4 (245) 2) Daedin 4 (239) 3) Angelo 4(228) 4) Elric 3 (235) 5) Will 3 (226) 6) Cournot 3 (176) 7) Nyan-cat 2 8) Scorps 1
Cournot was out because 1st game was really really bad... between Elric and Will that were in the same table the last moves of the Euro game were decisive. If Will would have been 3rd then 2ith Balduvian 4th Elric was out

Final on USA:

Balduvian vith van-mon van-sfe and Den-elp started first but then exposed his tactic playing 3 greys calgary-Vancouver, Elric had good points on the map but the tickets were smal and the longest was not good. Daedin wen with a small dead ticlet to the end.
That left Angelo with an East combo usually difficult to make a win from it... but he was free to get his points after a good start in the North. no one bothered him in the south... when he played 6 grees somoeone could have blocked him out of the longest with hou-no but the block didn't come.

GRATS ANGELO!!!
