18 - 8 - 2 : Battle Sheep (lost)

Battle Sheep -> nice idea, great game.
You can get very different games, some really lame like just 1 move wins, but after you learn this lesson it gets better.

Lost on a tie breaker! grr...
I know the numbers don't work but it would seem that it would be best to have 1 hex less than the total number of sheep.

18 - 9 - 2 : Quantum (lost)

Quantum is an all round killer game. Best played with friends.

I played a 3 player just to mix things up a bit, but this particular game was fairly uneventful, the winner was left to rush to victory unimpeded - it happens.

Another great game, but I've not fully come to grips with it yet.

Watch how I flounder and wave my arms about, my opponent swiftly takes advantage at every turn.

One of the most popular games on BGA, it is a true monster of a game.

I don't think I deserved this victory. I very much hit and hope.

Oooh, one of my favourite games on BGA that I'm not that good at, very happy to report a win.

It's a party game. Still lots of better ways to fill your time.

I came a reasonable 2nd out 4. The winner popped just 3 of his own colour, go figure.

21 - 11 - 2 : Elfenland (win).

It's a so so game elfenland, It not my 1st choice of game to play but has some quaint unique features that make it enjoyable just the same.

Played this game against my good dragon obsessed BGA friend Ivardo. I was 1 up after round 3, and something bad happened to Ivardo on the last round. I think his towns were too disjointed to be a threat on the last round.

Why oh why are there not more maps for this game??

Great 2 player game, has to be a perfect match of logic, strategy, fun, light, quick and interesting. I could see this as a family game, but the strategy and moves can be subtle, definitely recommend this game.

I'm not sure I won this game as much as stole it.

23 - 12 - 2 : Senet (win)

Senet is a bit like backgammon but you play in the same direction. Fantastic concept. It plays really well for such a simple game, the only downside can be the ending when it's very possible not to do anything particularly wrong and lose from a position where you're 4-1 up. I've since stopped playing after 3 such games in a row.

This game played out fairly quickly I got my nose ahead and kept in there, it looked like my opponent was going to keep a 4 long block going but it never really held me back.
