You guys are doing great! Even though i experience problems with my friend being disconnected from the server at max capacity of 30.000 players, you have done so much for all the players increasing the servers and changing the core of the system to make all this possible.

I wish you the best and would love to hear from you later with an update on the massive amount of effort you are putting in!

Hitting Start, it can be very slow to get going and some people quit. Then it is OK if it starts.

UPDATE: April 17th: the service capacity is now 37.000 simultaneous players.

Forum server has also been upgraded as it was too slow at peak hour.

Note: except during the week-ends at peak hour, BGA now manages to accept all of you without restrictions :)

Hi guys,

That's great, 37.000 simultaneous players, unbelievable.
You upgrade the capacity by a factor of 10 in only 2 month.

Regards, Daffie.

Have you looked into Cloud solutions to allow easy scaling based on the demand, maybe?

Well, we multiplied the service capacity by 10 so obviously it scales already :)

Note: The first post of this thread explains our approach and answer this question in details.

It didn't mention anything in the direction of my question, hence I asked. You'd be able to scale more easily than having to count and provision servers by going cloud-based as far as I understand it. But I don't want to suggest how you run things, just wanted to know if you maybe entertained the thought.
