Arena Season 5: let's go!

I had two games not finish and I was not the loser in either; however, in Thurn and Taxis it is a 3 player game, so it rated me a tie with the other "winner" and because my ELO was much higher I actually lost arena points. I lost enough points to drop me from Arena champion, to 2nd place (by 1 point).

I think this is a flaw and I should not have lost any Arena points for an unfinished game where I was a "winner".

Just seen this, that's great news about the end of season. Last season I was so frustrated about my in-progress games being cancelled mid-game that I actually stopped playing completely—I've had a 3-month break from BGA (and to a large extent board games in general!) Glad to see that games will now be allowed to be completed!

How is it determined which league players who had been in the elite league are restarted at? It looks like we have all been sent to silver for games with fewer leagues and gold for games with more leagues?

We try to follow everything and to catch all your suggestions / polls: sorry if we miss something. If you create a poll in a game specific forum that clearly show that players prefer another Arena setting, please post it there.

I would have wished that the Wizard arena is getting an interesting setting directly. I made a post about it, but the game is too new to have an arena lobby already I guess. The suggestion also would match the official tournaments of the publisher much better.

How do we see the results of our turn based games that didn't end in time?

Also, how was the decision to resolve turn-based games made? Was it intended to punish highly rated players by giving them a rush of ties with lower rated players, hurting their rating? If not, will anything be done to resolve these retroactively? I feel like outright voiding all unfinished games would be a better solution that what's been implemented here.

Every voter voted for automatic challenge (1 retry was the landslide favorite), and 'one doubling ability maximum' won >2/3 of votes.
Vote for player number is split, so the setting might alternate by odd/even season (the previous season was 3p, so this season would be 2p then).
