The OP is talking about a player who ONLY plays the winning side of a one way scenario so gets ranked as a top player and thinks there should be some adjustments on how this apples to ranking
Not sure why this has caused such in depth analysis haha

That sounds way too hard to do, unless there is an official list of balanced scenario somewhere ?
I propose that the choice of the camp is systematically random with an one-way game. However, a table option can provide, once the camps have been allocated, but before distributing the cards, a change of camp that will only be effective if the 2 players accept it. Therefore, the game continues as soon as a player refuses the change, or when both players have accepted it.
Agreed. Don't let the game creator pick which side to play when going 1-way. Make it random and now the "newb sniping" isn't as prosperous when they end up on the losing end of the con.

I created a suggestion in the bug reports for this:
https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=67376

Please vote if you'd prefer it implemented. Also lets accept that devs have ultimate say in this issue.

The Discussion in this forum was going afoul! Everybody is pointed in the wrong direction. I could see a vote coming on (whoop there it is!) and I was trying to nip it in the bud before it got thus far.
The OP is talking about a player
Was that really necessary?
When I see a topic labeled "Unfair play" - then I go in and take a Looksee, and I see it is just ***

I don't care about how a player plays his game. If I see what he is doing, I will bring him Down (on the Battlefield)!!!

Instead of crying "unfair, Unfair like a ***, get angry and decide to beat him at his own game, or create a post telling everybody how you got duped...Don't be going after the game. Unbalanced scenarios add great value to this game. If you don't see that; you are not in the game.
Forums was not that bad for discussing until the trolling guy joined the discussion
you might want to check yourself...don't be an ***!

Done! Thanks for setting it up.

The veredict of the developers:
""We will discuss that with publisher to see what would be the best.""

They are fully aware that exploitation is taking place, and will see to give it the most robust solution.

One way or another... this will not stay as is, and that is precisely what matters :)

Hello

Publisher contacted us (Tisaac & I) about this and his position (that we will implement) is that ranked game (ie not training) must be in 2 way.
We will implement this soon.

Cheers

The vote didn't even hit suggestion (+1 vote) board, and you're implementing  And I had such high hopes for this game :(

Being that 99.9% of M44 players, play for points- You'll be allowing players to focus on Balanced Scenario's "only." Unbalanced Scenarios will go to the wayside...disappear, obsolete. Think about the Scenario Designers?

If you're a good player and you want to be #1, just play two-way Balanced Scenario's, only (same difference)?

I just *Lost a game that ended in a draw, 100% Draw...How am I the loser? Higher point value didn't help me...what good are they. Points don't mean squat in a game like this.

Looks like everybody wants to take the easy win! I have no interest in playing a long-drawn-out game that means nothing, win or lose.
I don't mind playing one-way training. But then who wants to be stuck playing noobs all the time?

There goes my game.

The way you're looking at this makes me wonder if you understand how games are scored. Playing two ways is the only way that 'unbalanced' scenarios become balanced.

And that is exactly where you're wrong.

I love unbalanced scenarios!
And playing them twice, once for each side, allows precisely to play them in a competitive environment.

The publishers have adequately spoken :)

By chance... English is not my first language, can it be it is not yours either?
And there is maybe something lost here in the translation?

You seem quite a passionate guy for m44, such as most of us.
Why are you going so much against the grain here??
