Last match of the group:

jeroenh vs Artimon18

1) jeroenh (Axis) 7 med 28 figs / Artimon18 (Allies) 4 med 20 figs
2) jeroenh (Allied) 4 med 22 figs / Artimon18 (Axis) 7 med 26 figs

Total results:
Artimon18: 11 (46) -> (1 point) correction: 2 points
jeroenh: 11 (50) -> (3 points) correction: 2 points
(tie for medals in this tournament means 2 points each)

Tense games in this pacific front. The artillery was used quite heavily by Artimon18 in the first round, I managed to remove it halfway with a Barrage. After that Artimon18 was going in hiding, but I managed to pick off enough units from the caves that I could win that round.
In the return game I was lucky enough to have a Barrage in the beginning and aimed a well-placed hit on the Japanese Artillery, removing it from the board very early. Artimon18 managed to fence off my attacks and pressured my units on the back line and managed to secure a victory.

Game 1:
VCX1302 (allies) 7 mdls, 35 figs vs Ready2goM44(axis) 6 mdls, 26 figs

Game 2:

Result:
VCX1302 vs Ready2goM44 2-0 games, 14-9 mdls, 61-44 figs, 4-0 points

A tough battle against a formidable opponent. The first round could have gone both ways. But in the second game the Japanese were unstoppable and overwhelmed the allied left flank.

Thanks for yet another set of great battles! Good luck with the rest of your matches!
Thanks for the great match VCX. It was a fun challenge and I confirm the result.

I had some goods cards and dices performed superbly in round 1 as well as round 2. This time the advantage turned in my favor against an excellent player Lucky91.
Thanks and excellent continuation to you

ChiefWhiteHalfoat vs lucky91450

Game 1:
ChiefWhiteHalfoat (axis) 7 mdls, 26 figs vs lucky91450 (allies) 1 mdl, 13 figs

Game 2:
ChiefWhiteHalfoat (allies) 6 mdls, 26 figs vs lucky91450(axis) 7 mdls, 28 figs

Result:
ChiefWhiteHalfoat vs lucky91450 2-0 games, 13-8 mdls, 52-41 figs

Had a lot of great rolls the first game, so Japanese troops were able to roll over allies (so to speak), only way to do that to a quality opponent like lucky91450. Second game was closer, I was winning on my right side, but lucky91450 managed to wipe me out on my left.

The cards were a struggle the whole match, the only tactics card I played was an ambush.

A mistake about the score : the games are 1-1 so 3 points for ChiefWhiteHalfoat and 1 point for me
Congratulations again !
