Why is initial draft not available still??

Was there early in alpha and then gone... thought it would return with release...

Or at least have the option :/

Initial draft is a house rule many people mistakenly play. BGA uses the normal rules (draft only happens later in the game).

Now all thats left is for Prelude to be introduced, and BGA will be complete! Thanks devs. Thanks community, for making it happen.
