A New Logo for Board Game Arena

Hmm, I find the new design a little bit.. questionable.
It looks out of place. Doesn't go well with the layout of the website. Or do you by any chance have further plans to update the entire look of BGA in the near future?

Of course, it's all a matter of taste, but frankly, this new logo looks incredibly outdated! I know we're seeing a resurgence of 80s fashion in clothing, which I find appalling, but for the logo, we could have avoided that! That "pillow" shape, which is supposed to represent a table—we complained a lot about that when they changed it—but at least the colors were nice. Now, it's so ugly; it looks like something from 40 years ago!

If these are the kinds of changes Asmodee is making, we'd rather they didn't make any changes at all! Sorry for the criticism, but I really wonder who came up with this?!

And for those who are surprised that Asmodee acquired BGA, it's been a while now; Gregory Isabelli explained it when he sold BGA.

When I opened the site, the new logo first shocked me. Then I realized the real issue is that it doesn’t fit with the current identity.
Is this a teaser for a full redesign? Redoing only the logo without reworking the overall identity seems risky.

There's too much flashing. Logo popping in and out as you move between tables. Please work on the way this displays for users. Genuinely nauseating as it is.

Agreed. I don't like this at all. I don't like the colors, I don't like the hipness. It's garish and much too in-your-face. The throbbing, color-rotating logo between screens is unpleasant to look at.The old logo and current site design are perfectly pleasant and unobnoxious. The blue-purple combo was much nicer on the eyes. There's no need to update them. Sometimes subtler is better.

Effectivement, j'en suis choquée aussi! Je suis allée traduire mon texte via Google Translate car je ne m'exprime pas suffisamment en anglais! C'est quand même un site français à la base...

Et comme dit plus haut, le logo est vraiment trop visible tout le temps, au moindre changement de page, c'est vraiment pénible! Ça pète les yeux! C'est très désagréable... Ça dégoûte de jouer

It's too much in your face and it gives me those "in your face"-vibes like in the old comic series from the 80's where the "KABOOMs" or "KAPOWs" flew over your screen as the superhero punched criminals.

Lose the big black shadow, bring back the capital letters and it would look a lot better already.

Oh and please get rid of the flashing logo between loading pages....

Marketing people need to justify their usefulness and their salaries. So every now and then they come up with something that serves no purpose, adds no value, costs a lot of money, and around which they create a lot of hype. There are certainly better things to do with these resources than repainting things that don't need to be repainted.
