The shock of the first wave of attacks by the Axis forces had barely passed when the Belgian and Dutch armies saw the tsunami coming that would try to overwhelm them! France, for its part, gloriously defended Sedan and the front line was not broken. The French 3rd Infantry Army had pinned down Panzerwaffe No. 2! Attack phase 1bis has begun.

The Blitzkrieg is breaking through the Belgian defense lines!
Antwerp is under German control! The fall of Belgium would be a disaster! The Netherlands, isolated, have put up a strong resistance against the Axis 1st Infantry Army, yet this will not save them if the undefended capital, Amsterdam, falls! Will these two nations capitulate? The second phase of the German attack in this first turn will certainly be a moment of truth!

The Netherlands and Belgium have surrendered! The time is now German for these two nations. France and England, dismayed by the string of enemy successes, are preparing for a frontal assault. The once-powerful Maginot Line was no longer a guarantee of French security, despite the five German armies remaining on its front line. A breakthrough attempt by Panzewaffe No. 2 at Sedan is underway. Will the French 3rd Infantry Army, entrenched in the city, pull off another miracle?

Is Sedan about to fall? Six M44 matches will decide the city's fate! Twelve officers are currently battling it out!
The French 3rd Infantry Army is under attack on multiple fronts from Stukas and Panzers of the German 2nd Panzer Division. Several French battalions are retreating! Will the German firepower crush the 3rd Army and Sedan under its carpet of bombs?

Sedan has fallen! 5 victories out of 6 for the Axis side! What happened to the Allied side? The French 3rd Infantry Army had to retreat without suffering any further damage! Panzerwaffe No. 2 victoriously enters the city and immediately turns its guns and armored vehicles against the French Infantry Army No. 2! French Somua tanks are going into action to reinforce the attacked unit! Would it be enough?

The fighting is extremely fierce between the French 2nd Infantry Army and the 2nd Panzer Division! Unfortunately, the soldiers don't seem able to withstand the onslaught of the German tanks. Three Allied officers have each lost their M44 battles; two more engagements remain to try and turn the tide and stem this Axis tsunami! If a breakthrough is achieved, what will be the next objective of this powerful Panzer II?

Still difficult to endure for the Allies side !! Doing our best but seems that we will need some luck and a wind change to switch victory side !

The French 2nd Infantry Army had to redeploy east of the Somme and north of the Marne. The Somua tank company, sent as reinforcements, sacrificed itself on the battlefield to allow this infantry retreat. But the assault by Panzerwaffe 2 continues! The ramparts blocking access to Paris are crumbling! Likewise, the French 3rd Infantry Army is under frontal attack from the German 6th Infantry Army. Will this front line hold? Eighteen M44 matches will decide!
