This AI slop is disgusting
Sure. Where can we see your portfolio of original artwork?Unigoat_Edition wrote: ↑14 August 2026, 22:43Thanks for raising this — it's a fair question given how AI tooling is evolving in illustration work.CoreyHardt wrote: ↑14 August 2026, 14:28 We pay for subscriptions here, I don't enjoy seeing crappy AI spam across the front page of the website.
Plenty of good games to find and adapt that aren't regurgitated junk like this.
To clarify the process: the images were created by Guillaume Alarie, the game's author. He trained his own AI model exclusively on his own original artwork, which the model then used to generate a base set of illustrations. Those outputs were subsequently refined and retouched by hand to arrive at the final artwork used in the game.
We understand the concerns around AI-assisted art, and we take them seriously. In this case, the tool functioned as an extension of the illustrator's own creative process rather than as an independent artist — the model was trained solely on Guillaume's own body of work, and he directed and finalized every image himself. For that reason, we believe the artist credit accurately reflects who created the artwork.
Happy to answer any further questions about the process.
