Board Game Arena

Trying to report for collusion i get the message "The best way to fight Kingmaking is to give the Kingmaker player a red thumbs (public red thumbs). There is no use filling a report here: please give a red thumb to the one who did the kingmaking moves."
I can't report, give game ids etc...since i did not participate in the game, also its dumb since you can't know if there was kingmaking until you watch the replay from their pov and know their hands.

If I AM ONLINE then there's some notice when game is about to start. the keyword is "I AM ONLINE".
I did get a timeout because somewhat a weird situation I think. I started matching, but suddenly I have some issues, so I closed my browser and forgot canceling matching before it. When the issue ended and I opened BGA again, it said a match ended and of course I was timeout.
This is dumb, when I'm already offline, the matching should automatically stop.

Some comments for your reference.
1. Waiting time is too long. Should allow user to join arena or playing at normal table.
2. Player cannot select parameters (for example, fix 3 players for a game, but user may want to select 2 or 4 players)
3. Under ELO 100 cannot join the game. But there is no way to play normal game to increase the ELO.

I haven't actually tried arena mode yet, but it seems your analogy to the world cup is a bit off given that in the end the winner is still decided by ELO rank. Surely those who make elite can compete in a "post-season" style tournament to determine the real champion. Or at least a final for the top X from the elite ranks. ELO isn't a great measure of skill over the short term or over small variations in score, so determining a single champion from it seems a bit silly given the effort that's been gone to for everything else.

The automatic game start is a terrible choice. I was looking for a game in Arena or simple mode (I don't care about the Arena level thing, I just want to play games).

I lost my internet connection while waiting to be matched with a player, but I didn't worry about it since I hadn't agreed to start a game, and just put my phone down. I came back probably ten minutes later to try again, and found myself in a game with my clock 3.5 minutes in the red!

It's only because XelZrd is awesome and waited for me that I didn't get a quit penalty, but the truth is, they never should have had to wait for me in the first place! They should have been matched with a player who was actually available to play, like they would have in simple mode.

Arena Race for the Galaxy should not include all expansions. A minority of players are acquainted with the cards and mechanics up to Brink of War, and that limits the play field. Arena should include at most The Gathering Storm (1st expansion), which balances the base set and does not include takeovers and prestige.

I agree with fameros. There should be some rotation in the Race expansions used in each season. Perhaps rotate between the base game and each of the 3 expansion arcs.

Just a minor quibble! In the sign-up page for Tock there needs to be a settings line for number of players!
