Will lodger be on the new ban list as well? It is so annoying...

Lodger isn't even good, It's ranked 457th in the most recent rankings. It's 2 actions to get 1 action back for 1-4 turns. So on average you barely break even on the action efficiency unless you are gettign free occ plays or free growths somehow, But if you are getting that you probably have better things to play.

You should be happy when your opponents play such bad cards against you. Then you know you are ahead.

The point is that it massively disturbs the queue. For the person playing it it usually is not that good, but 1 person is severely disadvantaged and 1 person is getting an advantage

It is the same as cards like walking boots and carriage trip which are also banned, not because they are strong but because they disturb table balance massively

There have been multiple people writing recently about banning Lodger.

I am on the record as someone who thinks Lodger should be banned, it is often extremely game warping.

However I want to make sure I am following what the community want. Please could people with a view say if they want Lodger banned or not. I went through recent posts, the current situation is as follows (this is my summary from last June, with people expressing an opinion since then added in)

There have been multiple people writing recently about banning Lodger.

I am on the record as someone who thinks Lodger should be banned, it is often extremely game warping.

However I want to make sure I am following what the community want. Please could people with a view say if they want Lodger banned or not. I went through recent posts, the current situation is as follows (this is my summary from last June, with people expressing an opinion since then added in)

Lodger it's not good, but annoying, Brewery Pond is very strong and annoying. From the opponent's perspective, there are times when one thinks the Brewery Pond is on par with the Pulverizer Plow. However, Annoying Basket Weaver is go Beyond these.(Lodger Brewery Pond Ban also strongly agrees.) The Reasons are as follows:
-Many powerful or annoying cards must be played in advance(Even Brewery Pond, Pulverizer Plow)
-Even Cards designed to creating unexpected variables there is playing lisk(Lodger kill, Early Site Manager 2f etc.), but Basket Weaver isn't even that.
-There are many players Drafting Basket Weaver Early. This means that players who didn't see a Basket Weaver in the draft generally don't get a BMW in that game(In particular, Basket Weaver drafted as the first pick, this game BMW owner is decied by first card deal). If you try to get a BMW but don't see a Basket Weaver in the draft, you have no choice but to suffer.
I apologize for the many grammatical errors caused by using a translator due to my terrible English skills. However, I wrote this because it felt like I Would have to keep facing Basket Weaver if I just watched this discussion. I am Lodger, Brewery Pond Ban also strongly agrees.

@EuroGames Brewery Pond(Very Strong and Annoying Card)do you think about the ban?
Even an expert(He is a ranked player who has played over 3000 matches.) suggested an opinion like yours, so do you want to keep the Bakset Weaver too? Let me hear your reason(Why you should keep the card that allows a 4p RSF Stage 1 BMW at a low cost). I'm not an expert, but I've been lurking on the banned card discussions and I'm very interested in them. I consider Basket Weaver to be on the level of an Attack Card.

I think that it is more a personal preference thing for you the prioritize BMW. almost all games are very well playable without BMW. yes it is a good major, but limited in its output. (clayoven is better for food output and Well has a better resource to point ratio) In games with Forest reviewer of basket carrier it can be good to prioritize BMW, but in games with no high reed input it's usage is quite fringe. Only if you are content with 2reed grabs for the sole purpose of feeding. However grabbing half a point and 3 food every other round with one for your first actions is not really useful.

To conclude in my opinion Basket weaver should not be banned.

For brewery pond, i am not against a ban based annoyance, however i don't feel that applies to this card. It just makes reed a bit harder to come by for other players, but it is quite doable to win a game in a 3 room clay hut. Also there are lots of ways to get/save reed.
Because the card has not exceeded the 6 PWR threshold, a ban purely because of it's strength is not justified, yes it is strong, but so is cesspit, harvest house & melon patch. If we keep banning the current best cards we will end but with a continuously growing banlist.
