Is it possible to play to some "house" rules?
With the board game we play to 30 but a player can just have 2 nobles.
With more players then less to win (5 players = 25 points).
We've found that this makes for much closer games.

Fantastic!If you have to say that there is something not good enough, it is that the rainbow has 7 colors, and the gems are only 6.

Does anyone know more about their fascination with Flanders?
We have a house rule that if you reserve from the top deck, you choose from the top 2, 3 or 4 cards (lowest to highest cost rows). This removes part of the randomness.
We also start with an expensive (choose between 2) card, to set up some strategy between players.
