oh yes, the same flag that's put on the bombs being dropped on Ukrainian civilians and children. Thanks for your support of Ukraine.

Re: About war in Ukraine
Netflix has halted its production and acquisition actions in Russia. it has nothing to do with entertainment... all the measures being taken against russia are economic to motivate politicians and elites to force putin to stop. that bga leaves its citizens without being able to play is useless...Pushkiin wrote: ↑14 March 2022, 17:50 If the war continues and civilians keep dying, Russian players need to be banned on temporary basis. There is no evidence of any significant anti-war Russian movement right now, saying that there is one is disingenuous. But, we do a lot of have evidence of the war crimes and children being killed by Russian soldiers.
BGA falls under the category of entertainment. Players play games to pass the time and be entertained. For instance, Netflix suspended its operations and streaming in Russia because, I suspect, they can't imagine entertaining Russian population by giving them access to movies and TV series while Ukrainian children and civilians are being killed and bombed. BGA, on the other hand does not even want to consult the Ukrainian community or continue the discussion and they are okay with continuing allowing Russian to be entertained. Saying that sanctions don't help to put pressure on Russia is disingenuous (they do help and there is no evidence that it doesn't). Your comments also trivialize the efforts and sanctions that were put in place by entertainment and media companies.

Re: About war in Ukraine
It's Putin that most wants BGA to ban Russian players. That way it justifies 'the evil west' rhetoric that Putin is selling.
Knowing that Russian people are being lied to through their own state TV and government, you should take this opportunity to talk to Russian players. Putin and the Russian government will be able to continue the war while they can isolate their people from the real facts.
I fully support BGA in what they have done. This is in no way shows any support for the war. Economic sanctions by governments and companies are the way to put pressure on Putin. Taking away freedom of information for Russian people is a bad idea. As I've suggested, this is what Putin wants. Ally with the Russian people is the best way to try and make peace.
This is the way to go:

Again, this not true what you are saying, please read: https://www.politico.eu/article/netflix ... -services/vichy wrote: ↑14 March 2022, 21:13

Here's what they say: "In practice, this means people in the country will no longer be able to sign up for a new subscription starting on Monday, March 7, and current Russian subscribers will have access to their accounts only until the end of their current billing cycle. After this time, accounts belonging to Russian users will be temporarily suspended, until the situation in Ukraine changes, and Netflix may consider restarting their services in Russia.

They can spin things anyway they want, but right now is the time to put pressure on Russia. Again, sanctions do work and real actions are required while people are dying.RicardoRix wrote: ↑14 March 2022, 21:29 It's Putin that most wants BGA to ban Russian players. Re: About war in Ukraine
I'm sorry if Russian population is not convinced by images of bombed cities, dead children and civilians in Ukraine and I'm not sure what I or anyone else can say to them. if their response is "this is Fake or this is what was done by Ukrainian army" what else can be said to them? Again, BGA is not a platform to share news and it should not my job to "educate" just because I'm Ukrainian. I have friends in Kiev, and other cities in Ukraine who can't sleep because of air sirens and the threat of constant bombardment, always on the lookout. And you are telling me while all this suffering is going in Ukraine, it's okay for Russian folks to entertain themselves on BGA? Why? I don't think many of you realize the scale of this tragedy.RicardoRix wrote: ↑14 March 2022, 22:18
The BGA Russian players need you. They need you to tell them the truth.

Thanks to the BGA, you are one of the few who did not adhere to xenophobic and discriminatory views towards the Russians. Russia is a multinational country, not only Russians live here.

So, do you think, what BGA has done, is worse than racism?
