CheekyWombat vs Oracix

Round 1 : CheekyWombat (Axis) : 3 medals (16 figures) - Oracix (Allies) : 6 medals (25 figures)

Axis very aggressive on the whole front. The Allies held their defensive positions and repelled the attacks on the flanks. The round ended with a victory for the Allies without them having been able to cross the railway. The Germans were still present in the southern part of the city at the end of the round.

Round 2 : CheekyWombat (Allies) : 4 medals (22 figures) - Oracix (Axis) : 6 medals (23 figures)

Observation phase for 2-3 turns before the axis launches an offensive on its right flank. The breakthrough was semi-successful but losses were high. After stopping this assault, the allies tried to take the city by advancing massively but were well received by the axis. Fighting took place on the railway line and finally the Axis won by taking the south of the town

Total : 7 (38) - 12 (48) -> Oracix won

Thanks again CheekyWombat (for the game and for waking up early in your timezone for our game ;))

Mucho v. Burlington, Battle of Farebersviller (Lorraine, France, 1944). Mucho won with an overall score of 12-5. I scored two kills in round one and three in round two (Mucho scored five or six kills in round one as the Germans--he may have gotten a medal for occupying an objective hex, but I don't recall and he scored six kills in round 2 as the Americans).

A challenging and enjoyable match.

Game report shivaroxx win over internetfloozy

shivaroxxx vs internetfloozy

round one shivaroxxx had germans and won 6-1
round two shivaroxx had allies and won 6-3

for a total of 12-4

In first round germans sprinted across tracks boldly taking flag and position on city. Holding on and getting his armor into the action on the flanks was decisive. In 2nd round a more cautious game unfolded with a large build up on both sides of the tracks before the allies had an effective air power attack and followed that with repeated advances in the center to secure the vidtory.

Fun scenario!
