I too am also confused as I am currently paying $24/USD, not $30/USD. I'd like to know what my renewal in November will actually be. I have no problem or concern about an increase in price - although a 50% increase seems awfully high, if it really is jumping from $24 to $36.

Best money I ever spent was on the wedding license for my beautiful gamer-wife!
Just wait until you get your next billing for renewal . . .

BobReynald wrote: 09 May 2023, 14:27 Guys, a suggestion is that you give us the opportunity to renew our subscription earlier, I believe it would be good for both parties. It's possible?
Seconded. :)
This is exactly what I came here to ask. With resubscribing early, you’d earn a lot of interest on the renewal fees you receive early.

I don't mind the amount but it is getting to a number that is not a small amount of money. I had been keeping two annual subs for myself and my daughter to lock in the (what we thought was) grandfathered price of $24 but I'll just keep 1 account now. Still love the site but like I said, no reason for us to keep 2 accounts if the price keeps going up.

Premium gift codes are $30 and are good for up to one year. You can't use them on yourself, but if you have someone you trust...

Yes, it's only saving $6, but it's still better than a $12 increase.

Same here. Previous announcement made it sound like existing subscriptions would remain unchanged.

My subscription renews in October.
Can I pay now at the lower price for another year to renew my subscription?

mbillard wrote: 09 May 2023, 14:47 I agree that the price is still very good, but this is from your previous FAQ about the last raise:
You will subscribe with the current price (24$ annually, or 4$ each month), and you will keep these prices after the November 1st price update, as long as you do not cancel your membership. :)
as long as you do not cancel your membership
I have to say that BGA was a company that I trusted and now you are going back on your word. If you make a statement like that to guarantee people keep subscribing and then go back on what you said, it is dishonorable.

You get even worse by blaming the mistake on a your "Italian translator"
FYI, you're conflating two different things. The Italian translator mistranslated the English "annual subscription" to the Italian "sottoscrizione mensile" ("monthly subscription"). That has nothing to do with them going back on their "as long as you do not cancel your membership" statement.

Same here. I will let go my favorite pawn colour for 36$ and reduce the account number I'm paing for. You will not make more net many on many users.
