Thanks!
Go to this page: https://boardgamearena.com/gamelist?isWatched=

Subscribed games receive the notification, you should be able to remove it there.

I found your question, when searching trying to add a game to my notifications - it's all very unclear, random games seem to have the bell and there's no way to override it or add to that subscribed list other than going to the game itself, and finding the bell to be there or not in the 'show tables waiting for other players' field...

I'm still not sure why theres such a drive a remove the Play Now option when the new Lobby is awful. Surely the designers can see that? Its incredibly cluttered, hard to use and simply does not work in some places. The generate links part of the new lobby doesn't work and never has.

It's painful to watch so much development work go into something so poorly designed.

This quote could be used for most of the changes made in the last year, the new lobby, the games in progress page, the ELO destruction changes, and each time they choose it as their Hill to die on. There are only so many hills, you can't be dying all the time! I'm disappointed that these all seem created by someone that does not regularly use the site and do not take into account how user are interacting with the pages, or what the user base wants.

Quite. Reinstating the old game progress page and allowing users to choose between a classic mode as their default for this, their preferre lobby, and things like setting up rematches etc would be sensible. Old version superior in every way for how I use the site. New pages cluttered, hard to parse, slow down getting into games, harder to find information half the time without significant scrolling / opening mutiple new pages / sometimes you just can't get it, whereas with the old system it's either shown right there, or one click away eg try and find player experience ratings before joining a table. Or try and chat with players at the table to ask about a setting. Or... etc (you know, just useful things to help people do the thing the site is intended for - play games). New pages are visually bloated and littered with superfluous junk, poorly laid out. I could go on. Keep it lean and clean. Heck, that should even presumably help with all these server issues if page loads were smaller and loaded quicker.

Speaking as a relatively new (mostly mobile) player, the matchmaking/table interface has been my only real gripe with BGA. It is a constant source of confusion.

Going through this thread, I was initially confused as to why so many people preferred the PLAY NOW page over the GAMES page. Lo and behold, there's an MANUAL option for table searches. I had no idea that you could see individual tables on the PLAY NOW page until this thread spurred me to dig deeper. The table-finder option must be set to AUTOMATIC by default.

I was operating under the assumption that the PLAY NOW page was for fast and dirty table creation - a place where users can set-up games which are tuned to their own preferences. It never occurred to me that I could look at open tables here; in my mind that's what the GAMES page's purpose was.
