Challengers 2 - is it coming to BGA?

I have had some discussion with the publisher. No promises from me yet, but there is a chance for good news by early next year. Sorry it has taken so long!

Amazing!!! I am really crossing my fingers. Hopefully decks from both games can be combined. Would really add layers to the game.

This would be amazing. I would absolutely love to play the 16 player mode with both games, but even just adding a variation where you can add the beachcup player/round cards and the new dog like the physical game offers would be a huge improvement.

I'd imagine this will take a while if it wasn't already being built before.

• New rules updates from Beach Cup should get applied to Challengers first. This would likely give a more complete base to build Beach Cup from

• Then you have to build the base game of Beach Cup which I imagine would be a fairly straightforward port from the base game.

• Then you have the Trainer Cards. I've never played with these so I'm unsure how they affect the game.

• You also can mix the two games together and play with different card sets from both games. Are they building that too?

• And lastly, you have the Giga-tournament setup. I imagine this could be a beast or maybe simplistic depending on how the base and beach cup versions are built?

It sounds like a lot of work. I would add Beach cup upgrades to the base game now and release it so people get used to the new dog cards and the new plans that give three A's or fans or whatever. Then I'd start building Beach Cup.

@GTSchemer, if you need more people to help troubleshoot, play test, or just brainstorm with, I would love to be involved. I have toyed wit building BGA games in the past but never got past the basic tutorials into a new game. Would love to be directly involved in the code and help/learn along the way however I could.

There are two types of Trainer cards: Continous, that their effects apply all the time, so I guess they aren't that complicated; and the Flip ones, that need to be triggered by the player, so it needs a prompt I guess, plus when to activate them... I don't know, I'm not a programmer, but I'm sure ready to play Beach Cup here
