Can anyone help me figure out why my slipstream was 2 and not 5 on this move? I am pretty new to the game, so I might be misunderstanding something.

Iā€˜m not sure i know the move you are referring to. There was nothing unusual before you spun out on lap 2. Your slipstream card goes into the discard after you boost? Only basic cards(1,2,3,4) are valid when resolving boost and + cards.

It is because slipstreaming cannot be used to cross the finish line (nor after having crossed the finish line). Your +5 slipstream would have done that, but the option to not use the R.P.M. and take only the +2 slipstream was available.

I have seen a bug when it comes to using slipstream to extend your movement beyond the next corner. I've reported it twice, I even have a screenshot but I can't post it because they want me to use some other 3rd party software to post screenshots. I'm questioning my continuation to this subscription.

Desripe the bug and use a move number which you can find in the log of the game.
I have never used screenshots, not able to do, because mostly playing on phone. But i always was helped and never asked to add a screenshot.

For the game you are referring to. For me it is hard to see what is going wrong, because in the rewind i can see twice the splistream, but that is the problem probably, that you were not able to use it. So if the screenshot of you not able to use it, hopefully with a move number they can maybe check it.

This is the most confusing part of Heat. Slipstreaming doesn't add to your speed, but doesn't nullify it either. When you cross a corner due to slipstream, you don't have an extra 2 points of speed, but you still cross the corner with a speed of some sort.
