This is only a medium weight game, and if you know Pandemic you are already half way to understanding the rules. It takes longer to set up the physical game up than to learn how to play.
It's a stretch to say that ten characters to choose from is limiting and constraining. That's 45 combinations of characters you could choose for your two, without then considering the overall combos of your pair interacting with other players pairs. This compared to Pandemic which I think had six characters.

This is not a game of grand long term strategy, as the cards and dice will trash any plans you have. It's staying fluid and responding to board state

I'd like to throw in my hope that this game returns to the BGA, now that it's been out on the market for several months, either in its limited form or in a full version of the physical game. Would BGA negotiate with Z-Man on this, because I think it would be a win-win for both?
