Why does day 1 box show a "1" in it, but my day 2 box shows as empty?

I wondered the same thing. I played the game yesterday but didn't use the gift box to access it. Does that still count?

Not meaning to discourage those who plan these cool things, but it seems that 'wherever you are' means 'wherever you happen to be experiencing winter'. And, well, you do know that less than half of the globe is experiencing winter right now and the rest are either warm or hot?

Not meaning to discourage YOU, but 90% of the world population experiences winter in December, so your 'less than half of the globe' comment rings a bit false.

The "it" is the gift box on the calendar. You don't have to play the game for the achievement. My hypothesis is, no, they didn't implement code to run a database query to check the status of your calendar when someone first tries the game, then also have that code set a flag that is checked to inhibit subsequent database queries.

But this is easily testable by playing the next game that is released, then checking if the box is open on the calendar. I know where I'm placing my bet.

If the '1' has a red circle around it like you've circled that date on the calendar, you're good. I don't intend to find out what it looks like if you miss one. Day 2 is the current day, so I guess they show it empty as in you removed the gift and left the box out for the cat to play in or something.

That is all you need to do. Daily until the 31st of December.

I thought this originally had the fact that the day begins at midnight CET? Did you edit that out? If it's not in every single original post that mentions this calendar you will create an avalanche of complaints about people not knowing when the day begins. I mean, you're going to get complaints regardless because....humans, but not having the time zone information is an own goal.

Please fix the prizes. Just like last time, nothing's working. I'm not opening them in a row, but I can't open them within 24 hours. I open one every day, but they won't give me the prize and say they opened them in a row, even though that's not true.
