If this is added in the future, I would need to be careful (probably with a warning dialog) because it could trap newer players. Normally, you should always be prompted repeatedly in case you change your mind partway through a battle and want to retreat.

This planned movement feature was very confusing for me at first, since I was expecting a timing window after activation. Anyway, what if, after having your activation and movement planned, you would wait for the opponent to use Ceasefire etc., and if they decide not to use it, you would then get a prompt whether or not to proceed with your planned movement? It after all matters a lot whether the enemy decides to use Ceasefire or not.

It sounds like the new Commit Activation button would provide what you want, letting the game pause after Ceasefire.

Some minor fixes and changes are in a new build:

* Updated pan and zoom support for Safari / tablet users. If you use a laptop with a touchscreen and a mouse, please watch to make sure no side effects occur.

* Added new option "Sidebar (short)" to Options -> Map -> Tactical move style. This option uses less vertical space for the sidebar.

I SECOND THIS COMPLETELY!!!!
Creckerer wrote: 11 August 2025, 14:16 Hi, i noticed that after making tactical/strategic action turn ended automatically. This isn't really comfortable cos when movement is done and new neigbour is founded i wanna make transaction but cant. I think it will be good to have a button to explicitly ask for ending the turn.

Greetings,

You may want to enable the toggle "Pause At End Of My Turn" in the alerts tab. It should give you the pause that you want.

Thanks Borek! I will note that A, B, C are different for each player count ("A" for 3 players and "A" for 6 players are different, for example).

Also, 4-player A, B, C with hyperlanes is a different layout than 4-player A, B, C without hyperlanes.

Premade Map B
Due to the double empty systems, I would not like to start in either of these two positions...

... at least not until the Prophecy of Kings expansion due to Dark Energy Tap.

New build:
* Added "Advanced Pause Options" button to Alerts tab. In the future, this could contain more options.
* Added new "After I replenish commodities" toggle in advanced pause options.

Thanks, would you please put these links into this suggestion so we can track and discuss map images and balance in one place: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=180115

If anyone else is an experienced player and feels strongly about a certain map, please also feel free to comment on that suggestion with details, so we can keep this thread to mostly news.
