I don't have this issue.
Could you tell me if you are using Chrome or Firefox?
And could you please make a screenshot and send me the link using https://imgur.com/ ?

Edit: Nah, I get it...
It'll be fixed in the next version next week!
Thanks for the report ;)
Barberserk wrote: 10 April 2025, 14:01 Also, often on the forum the solid black background doesn't appear, instead I get the planks, it needs 1-2 refreshes for it to register. My suggestion is to completely discard the planks, it doesn't look good or practical on the forum or any game, we need a solid non-distracting background.
Again I don't have this problem :(
What is your browser?
Do you also have the problem in games?
In games no, just the forum. For example now that I came to see the new messages, even the panels were white instead of dark grey, the frames around objects to say it better. One refresh and it was fixed, the planks also turned into solid background. I am on Firefox.

EDIT: The white frames appeared after I finished a game also, in the PLAY NOW section and the friends list I opened before I refreshed. I could try to capture some in a screenshot but you get the picture, they don't load properly. And when I returned to the forum to add this update, again, planks instead of solid bakcground, heh...

I'm able to reproduce and capture the "white frame issue" with Firefox's profiler. The issue seems to be related to some Google Translate API callback error (Uncaught TypeError: google.translate.SectionalElement is not a constructor) in the main page triggering a complete style re-compute ...

Will be fun to debug another day :)

I'm more of a Chrome dev, so if you'd like to try and solve this problem, I'd be happy to :)

The reviews I receive are the only reward I get for my work.
With this kind of message, I just want to throw it all away.
The "popup" in question invites to send a bug report, but it was much nicer to leave a 2/5.

If you want to make me happy, now's the time to leave a review to counterbalance this one ;)

BTW, does anyone have the same problem or is it just that they didn't think to click on the message to close it? It's not supposed to be displayed more than once ...

I feel like I only saw it once. And it's much better in my opinion, since it saves on dark mode bugs going to the normal bug queue where they both can't be dealt with and annoy the BGA dev/mods who have to say, "not our problem".

ETA: I have already left you a (5*) review, so unfortunately cannot again. :)

Hello,

Fast start seems to create two tables for the past few days: Image

(Firefox, 1.11.15)

Thanks!

If you like our job, please take 2 minutes to let an appreciation on the extension page of your favorite Browser 😉

This version also adds the following features :
