Premium subscription new price & details (November 1st)

I spend as premium member way too much time here on BGA.

As a result, many important things are neglected. That is why I see my only chance in deleting the user account here at BGA including premium membership. In addition, these statistics here make me feel depressed. For example at CuBirds in the ranking list I have already been over 200 (or 250) several times, only to drop back to 100. Frustrating for me.

Has anyone ever looked at the negative effects here at BGA?

It is up to everyone to use the offer responsibly. If it is difficult to use it in a disciplined way, deregistration may be the right way to go.

2.50 Euros or Dollars per month in an annual subscription is a fair price. For that, you usually don't even get a decent coffee anymore.

When you go to premium page, normal there is an option to subscribe on automatically renew it

From what I understand, as long as I don't cancel my subscription after my trial ends (26th of October) and keep my Premium status going, does this mean I will be charged the current price when I'm billed and not the new price? I'm just wondering because I'm not sure exactly when I'll be billed once my trial period is over.

The price that matters is the one you have when you started your subscription, free trial or not.

A good way to check, in any case, it Preferences/account section: if it specify a subscription here (with automatic renewal), the price will remain unchanged.

This question was asked before, but it wasn't answered. How to change payment method without cancelling subscription? According to FAQ:

How do I update my payment information? How do I update my Credit card number?

The best way to do this is by resubscribing using your new payment information:

Go to the Premium page: https://boardgamearena.com/premium
Cancel your current subscription (the remaining membership will not be lost)
Choose the monthly or the yearly membership and enter your new payment information.

Unfortunately not, so a payment method change force you to the new price. We have no way to deal with this in another way, since it won't be possible to create new subscriptions with previous prices. However, please note that the expiration date does not force you to change your payment method: our payment provider is managing this automatically.
