Hi, thanks for posting - but sorry, you've not played on the right set-up, you need to have selected the 'Automa of the month (Geodens)' button after Random map. The seed, which will appear in the player scoring panel, will be 16776720. Good luck!

I am trying to setup a second game but I get a different map (seed 16776756).
(And yes, I am still doing the same selection... Random Map and Automa of the Month )
Was there a change in game setup parameters? or am I doing something wrong? but I don't know what!

Good score! There's been no change in the setup that I'm aware of (I'm not a developer) but one or two other players have reported games on the wrong seed. Would you mind submitting a bug report giving the successful link and the link to the game that gave the wrong seed, if you have it?

In the meantime, try this: Start the game with Random map selected >> Choose the Geodens faction card (as you would for a normal game) >> Set the custom seed (16776720 for this challenge), which is next to the heading 'Choose Automa Difficulty Level', and Select the Automa difficulty >> Choose Nevlas.

Score lists updated and starting instructions edited.

I see another user submitted a bug report but it was closed because "this is not a bug". However I experienced exactly the same issue (game started with Seed #16776756 instead of 16776720). Looks like a bug to me
I added to the previous report, let's see...

To add to the fun of the discussion - I also have the same 'bug'. I have to paste the correct seed in every time. Something strange there for sure.

Probably a way to optimize quite a bit more here still, super happy with my first 200+ though

If you get the wrong seed, check your system date. If your system has the wrong date, you'll get the automa of that month.

And, if I understand correctly, boulou2 got the correct seed on the first game (see earlier post), but the next game it was wrong - which seems odd.

It's whatever the time is on the device you're using. That result is what I'd expect if boulou's PC is a few days ahead.

I never experienced the problem on previous solo challenges and indeed got my first game of this month correctly seeded. So it has nothing to do with the system date in my case.
The only change I noticed is in the Table Configuration interface. I now see only Game Mode and Game setup whereas before I also could see other options.
