This is deeply insulting to real creatives and artists, and a slap in the face to the people who love this hobby. No game featuring any amount of "art" or "writing" produced by these plagiarism machines should be allowed to be sold or played anywhere. This game should be deleted off of BGA, and, honestly, BGA ought to issue an official apology and do better. I cannot overstate how lazy and pathetic it is to use AI.

Is there a way to hide games from view so I at least don't need to have my eyes assaulted every time I open this app?
Exactly this!

Adding my comment to the many. Rare to see a misfire from BGA like this. It's disappointing

I am curious about the definition of slop. Is it slop just because it is AI art or is it slop because it is a particular, worse form of AI art?

In any case, while I get that it's on the front page because it's new, it's still very off-putting to see AI art there, of all places.

I already did. Five pages of unanimous feedback and nothing but silence. They're just waiting to sweep this under the rug.
You're right - I've just canceled mine as well, expires tomorrow. I'll renew when this game is removed.

Yes. This is basically what everyone thinks of when they think of AI art slop is, being the most generic AI art style with the most generic AI art subject. Its also the boardgame equivalent of shovelware too even outside of that. It has cats! It has cards with numbers on it! It has very little to distinguish it from what you could do with a regular deck of playing cards with photographs of actual cats on it!

TBH the BGA site already has a ton of shovelware games with mediocre to terrible BGG reviews, but Generic Card Game #839 is usually just beneath notice. This one's underwhelming 'feature' though is predictably drawing flack.

This is pretty much my first comment ever on the site after being subscribed a number of years, but yea I've gotta add my voice that this absolutely sucks to see BGA supporting AI. Nobody wants AI slop games on here and seeing it promoted in the summer of games is deeply disappointing.

As usual. Silence from bga. I gather that means they are ignoring the issue. Comon bga where is an appropriate response. We are waiting. Get this junk of your site.
