XpertDBA wrote: 27 March 2026, 15:35 I'm a bit confused, and maybe I don't understand the Automa (solo) rules the way I thought I did. I opened up a Solo game on the new Tuscany board and the game started off normally. When I went into my first Summer season, the first thing Automa did was choose a card that blocked "Plant a Vine" and "Buy or Sell a Vine". When he placed his workers on these actions, he put them in the middle (slot #2) slot for both. I thought in a 2-player game (which this is because I'm playing versus Automa), that ONLY the first slot (far left) is available for both of us to play. If he's able to put his workers into slot #2, then what is he ever blocking for me to not be able to do? I went ahead and placed a worker in the #1 slot for Plant a Vine and it let me do that, even though he had his worker in slot #2 for that action? Am I missing something, or is the solo version of Tuscany not working correctly yet?
The main of thing of this confusing behaviour is that the game previously was developed without having Tuscany in mind (by another dev). And the whole solo-bonus logic was built with the idea that first worker space never have bonuses. Tuscany breaks this logic. What I've done is that the space without the bonus is always available in solo game and it's the space automa places its meeples. Technically and logically it should be according to the rulebook. If you see a difference with the rulebook - please create a bug. Yes, that might look confusing but I think it should work correctly logically
It's totally wrong however. The rulebook explicitly says that in a 2-player game, only the left spot is supposed to be available. The other 2 spots are not available in solo mode (or in a two player game). If the automa never blocks off that left spot, then it will NEVER block any action, which is the whole point of putting automa's workers out on the board - to block off actions of the player. This means the game is never playing the way it is supposed to play.
