Can anyone explain what the game options are? I cannot find an explanation for each one and I want to start a game.
Thank you.

Which options are confusing in particular? Most like "Game Length" and "Support for the Throne" should be self-explanatory if you have played Twilight Imperium.
"Civilized Society" may be unfamiliar. It is an expansion module, so you can just leave it turned off. For setup, I suggest choosing any of the premade maps for your first game, or the option for players to build the map if you prefer a more dynamic map setup.

Many games show an explanation for the options they offer, even for pretty self-explanatory ones. So you could just write "Include the "Support for the Throne" promissory note, which grants 1 VP to the player given and is returned when the receiver activates a system with the giver's units" when the option is active and "Do not include the "Support for the Throne" promissory note" when inactive. Likewise for the civilized society "Employ the "Civilized Society" galactic event from the Thunder's Edge expansion, which turns all public objectives face up at game start". And maybe something concise for the others too, though they are less puzzling to a newcomer.

Thanks for the suggestions, maybe I can add some descriptions.

As an alpha member, I think you can also edit the wiki of the game. Perhaps add an explanation for the options in there yourself once you find out what they are? Just a suggestion though !

As far as I'm concerned, the wiki is meant as a reminder of the rules (and especially those pesky ones people tend to forget), overview of game components or strategy guide, not to explain options. Those should be explained in the options menu itself, because that's where people need it. And that can only be modified by people with write access to the project. Very easy to do though.

I agree, the primary game rule wiki is intended for game rules. The next deploy will have descriptions for each option value.

On further reflection, I do think that complex options can be detailed in the wiki, e.g. if there are entirely different game modes with various differences between them. In such a case players who are familiar with one way of playing the game can, during play, look up in one place in the wiki all the differences to what they're familiar with. An example is the help page I recently wrote for Alchemists, where I detailed the difference between Apprentice and Master version: there are three differences and only one or two can be explained easily. In the case of TI4, the wiki could include the premade maps (on a specific wiki page for reference outside the game, not the game help page shown underneath the play screen), as these cannot be explained in the options menu. But the options we were mainly talking about (support for the throne, civilised society) are so easily explained and also do not confuse players unused to them during the game, that I see no need to bring them up in the wiki.

A new build has been deployed:
* Added X-1 automation, approved by FFG.
* Added descriptions for each setup option value.
For those who do not know, "X-1" is a somewhat common shortcut to save time when the TRADE strategy card is used. Here is the Help dialog you can access ingame:
Some notes:
* You can click the "Minimal" button to shrink the primary interface, and the "Help" button to see the help dialog shown above.
* This feature has been enabled on all existing tables for testing purposes, but you can disable it when you create a new table if you want.
* Even with this feature disabled, players can still manually do these kinds of deals. The X-1 feature just makes them automatic.
* Note that if you are offered X-1, you will wake up in the normal secondary timing window, but
you will only replenish commodities if you accept. Think of it as a binding agreement: You will not replenish unless you agree to the terms.
* Note that this does act as transaction, which means if you resolve X-1, you cannot resolve another transaction with the primary player until the next action phase turn.
