I can't see when the markers are about to cross, there for I prematurely ended the game with a inferior move when I couldn't have optimized my final play.

Am I doing sonething wrong or is there no way to see the scoring tracks while playing?
You can see the scoreboard as explained in the tour. Also, the game is over when someone reach a score of 100 so you dont even have to look at the scoreboard actually

I think there's an issue with scoring... if not already mentioned.

The scoring stipulates:

"Finally, it’s time to tally Victory Points. Begin by looking
at the scoring area where your conservation counter is
located. Find the lowest appeal value in that scoring area.
This is your Target Number. Compare your Target Number
to the value of your appeal counter. Subtract your Target
Number from your appeal value and the result is your
Victory Points. The player with the highest positive
Victory Point total is the winner. In case of a tie, the tied
player who supported the most Conservation Projects
wins the game (you can determine this by counting how
many player tokens have been removed from left side
of your zoo map). If the score is still a tie, all tied players
share the victory"

So in my game... I had a conservation target locked at 70 appeal (I was at conservation level 18... therefore my target was 70).

My final appeal was 62.

Per the rules, my score should be -8.

Except it said my score was 92. This doesn't align with the rules. Can someone please help me out here? Thank you.

Please just read the tour, it's completely covered in full details as for many other things.

Because it's taking a lot of time to answer each question every time (we are getting ~ 20 false bug reports each day to give you an idea of how much time we waste). Which is why we made this "tour" : the big popup that is displayed whenever you enter a game. You cant miss it, really. So please at least read it before reporting something that seems wrong.

First of all thank you to everyone involved in making this game available on BGA.

I was wondering if it would be possible to include the "Shortened Game" option here.

I'm not sure if it's something official or just a recommendation from the designer but on my first game of Ark Nova playing with the physical copy the owner of the game reduced quite some steps on the score track to make the game shorter and it works much better.

To be honest I really enjoy the first and last 30 minutes of the game but the hour or more in between (with 3P) is quite boring and feels like a chore.

Are you considering adding this in the near future?

Thanks in advance!
Nope. That's not official so it's very unlikely to be added until you manage to get publisher approval
Oh, I see... the guy I played with said this was an official adjustment of sorts.
What a liar.
