I've had not so great games against players who were only playing 1-2 games simultaneously as well. I've even seen what I would consider poor games from players with good ELO - but everyone is entitled to an off day (and I know the same can be said of me). If good play really matters to you, consider restricting by ELO or playing level in Arena (assuming you're at a reasonable rank yourself).
Or is your issue with the time taken, rather than the quality of play? Although that should be solved by using appropriate time limits and booting people if you think they're abusing them (according to your own definition of such abuse, kick immediately when over time, or give a little grace, as suits your preference).
Well... What i was saying about my opponent is that 456 turn-based games with a mean of 2 turns a day = 912 turns/day.
So If you stop playing for 8 hours a day (most human need to sleep and eat sometimes), it's 57 turns/hour.
So, you have to play almost 1 turn every minute for 16 hours every day.
I think it's a lot
)
Even worse if you play many different big games. I'm not sure usual human can play without doing (big) mistakes at this level.
But, at least, bga should send warning messages about addiction

Although 2 turns per day is +12 hours per turn, since it's the same for every player, it could end up being 2 turns *total* per day in the table, not per player, but in total (or even less, but then people start going into the red). So, for 4-player tables, that's playing a turn every 2 days, or 228 turns/day.
Did you check that the mean was 2 turns a day? As far as I know, most tables are created by default at 1 turn per day, and maybe someone joining 400+ tables makes sure to play even slower ones, or with no time limit.
In any case, what is true for the specific player you encountered with 456 tables, is not necessarily true for other players with a similar number of tables.

A table that says 4 turns a day doesn't mean every player will be required to make four turns a day.
It meant the table will have 4 turns taken in a day. In a 4 player game, that would average out at 1 turn a day for each player.
I've been in 6 player games that only require me to make one move a week. I had a game of The Crew last 18 months for all 50 missions. Why would a bunch of games like that count against my ability to play another game?
