If you need more testers - please add me to the group. It‘s one of my all-time-favourites…

Basically 3 things are needed:
- at least 10 BGA reviewers need to give it approval. (Which should be a formality for a popular game like this, excluding major bugs which I certainly haven't spotted any yet. It may already have enough approvals, I haven't checked!)
- the publisher has to approve it (that can take time, depends on the publisher)
- the developer has to feel it's ready (even if the other boxes are ticked, they might want to make eg some UI improvements)
Very interesting, I never knew this. So its entirely possible to build an alpha and never get publisher approval or are they usually approved prior?

This implementation is superb.
Sadly yes - I won't name specific examples because I am not certain this is the case, but there are a number of games that are still in Alpha after a long time where I have heard anecdotally that the problem is the publisher basically losing interest :(

Again I don't know for sure, but I doubt that will be a problem for GWT because I believe it has been in private alpha for quite a while and has recently moved to "public" alpha, I hope that indicates publisher involvement and some level of approval. But only the developer of this adaptation, the publishers, and BGA admins, will know for sure.
It's just so incredibly silly not to support a game on here. It's going to expose the game to more people, make the game stickier as you get to experience it more often with a higher variety of players, and ultimately lead to higher sales of the physical copy. As someone that works in marketing, I have seen this work out in so many different ways. II sometimes wonder if board game publishers are still living in the stone age as their marketing tactics haven't really evolved or caught up much...
