Its just the way of dice. Ive been in IRL games were the dice roles were heavily weighted towards 1 or 2 digits, with their mirror image numbers e.g. 10 v4 barley coming up.
Best way to solve this issue is give the option for games to be hosted with catan event cards instead.

Every single person who complained and has been challenged to show evidence did not show any evidence,
show me the code and I'll tell you where the mistakes are.
Just in case anyone is fooled by that claim, I want to point out that this is a nonsensical response. Sure, if this code were open source, we could analyze it, but I doubt it is. However, this person implies that because we haven't looked at the code, that is somehow _evidence_ that the dice are biased and unfair. Even the mildest amount of critical thinking should make it blindingly obvious that it's not evidence of anything.
My assertion remains true as far as I can see: "Every single person who complained and has been challenged to show evidence did not show any evidence"

Even if you could see the code, one could never be sure that's the code actually running in the site

I agree that there is an issue with the dice generator.
What I would like to know is how it is implemented.
Is there one dice generator for the whole site?
This could explain the statical abnormalities found in an individual game.
I have seen posts with links to individual games with bizarre distributions.
Is there one dice generator for each type of game software package?l
For instance one dice generator for every Settlers game in operation on the site.
This could explain the statical variation I have noticed within Settlers games.
Unfortunately I believe the developers may have chosen to implement the dice generator in one of the ways above.
I believe the site may need to have a separate dice generator for each game in progress to eliminate the statistical anomalies. So, I do not believe the problem is with the dice generator. They have been around for decades now.
This would be quite the task and I do not believe this site is willing to go to this length to ensure statistical stability with the games played on this site.
So until the questions I have posed are answered we will not know.
If someone could get these questions answered it would be awesome.
At least we could understand it’s the way the dice generator works on this site.

Start with reading the FAQ. If you want to dive deeper, you could also apply for a developer account and read the source code.

I agree. The numbers 4, 5, 9 and 10 come up way more often than 6 or 8. Also, immediately once a player has 8 or more resource cards the number 7 will roll. It ruins the flow of the game, it is very, very frustrating and it slows the game down dramatically. It would be such a simple fix to change the minimum number of resource cards from 8 to 10 when a 7 is rolled; however I have never seen any admin address this problem, and in fact they have arrogantly denied that there is a problem. IT RUINS THE FLOW OF THE GAME. AND OFTEN TIMES A PLAYER HAS 8 RESOURCE CARDS, BUT NO ONE WILL TRADE WITH THEM AS THEY KNOW THAT VERY SOON A 7 WILL BE ROLLED. EASY, EASY, EASY FIX. AND IT WILL MAKE THE GAME BETTER.

You make some very precise but wrong claims. If your claims were correct you could easily prove them by analyzing 20 consecutive (i.e. not handpicked) games. Please tell us the outcome!

I hesitate to say this would be a completely different game, but it would be a different game. The risk of 7 is a key part of managing your resources. The fact that you can have 8 cards and not be able to build things, is part of what makes managing those resources and choosing where to build to get that resource mix in the first place a challenge.
Yes you could increase this to 8 or 10. Or just remove the discard cards aspect of the robber from the game, but then you are playing something else. Not Catan.

Actually, the game would be much better if you could just choose a number, instead of roll dice.
And if you could also choose which number correspond to each hex too.
And better yet if you could selectively choose which settlements/cities will produce during your turn, without including other settlements/cities that may share a hex.
PLEASE IMPLEMENT THIS SUPERIOR VARIANT!!!!!

But what if my choices don't end up equally distributed?
