Thanks for the correction, I misread or more likely mis-assumed scoring.

Results: MDGatsby vs. Viper0807: 2-0 games, 12-6 medals, 51-42 figs, 4-0 points.

This game hinged on the final turn of Round 1. Both players had chipped away at each other but were playing hide-and-seek with wounded units: it was tied 1-1 in medals, and both players had killed 18 figures. MDGatsby played an Armor Assault and inflicted 10 damage, finishing off 4 units and capturing the Axis objective medal for a rare 5-medal turn. The games were much cagier and closer than the final score would appear.
