Hearts : Moon suggestion

Whenever someone hits the moon, a possibility, that would make the game a bit longer than it is now :
-give that player +13 points, so it allows him to come back in the game if he has low points
-and give other players -13 points, in a way the differential of points between him and other players is still 26 AND the sum of points dealt is still -26 like after a regular game.
What do you think ?

Could be a good variant, hearts isn't a game where you can recover if you've two or three bad hands in-a-row...

The way I always played was if someone shoots the moon they can either add 26 to everyone else's score or take 26 off their score. Person couldn't go below 0, so if they have less than 26 wouldn't make sense to take points off own score. Of course with scoring opposite the normal on BGA adding/subtracting would be reversed.

all 3 good ways anything is better than the way bga is allowing the game of hearts being ruined . another option is explain the game better and minus 52 points for those that dont cover there passes.the minus 52 for the moon passer and minus 26 to others.
