be more strict with kingmaking

Hi :) I host this topic for a simple reason : On BGA, it's bad, but players use kingmaking and get good places :

-JohnWayne on Yahtzee (He's 1st), on Chess (he's 2nd) and on Cant Stop (he's 3rd)
-valy24 on Neutreeko (he's 7th)
(Moderation can omite the names if they want, it's not a problem, it was just to give an example)
Its just 2 usernames I know who are top 10

But against them, it's imposible to fight on the classment (especially in games with luck as Yahtzee or Can't Stop), at each game, we take risks to lose a lot of point and the kingmaker don't take any risks : they are obliged to win !

So, I reported these 2 players :
-The first one got 30 red thumb
-The second was banned during 30 games for "insults"... ok but after, he'll come back and take top 1 on Can't Stop (he need 10 points) and on Chess?? And after, on another game?

So, I suggest to the moderation to exclude all kingmakers from classment, they went up by cheating, they should went down to lose his advantage... good, he has red thumb but is it a problem for him? Players with who he do kingmaking will keep playin with him to give points

So, do you think that kingmakers should be excluded from classement to have equality between players and have the best on 1st place, no the best cheater?

Thanks for advance

Hi,

very good idea !!!
We need to play "safely" on BGA; without cheaters who corrupt the system.

Severity must be the key word !

I also agree. Some games are very strange dealing with John Wayne and Samuelson.

Also agree, cheaters to use multi-account just for win elo have nothing to do in bga and they sould to be ban.

More they are easily identifiable, have more than 90% of victory over dozens of part facing the same player, especially on games as much based on luck like yathzee, it's statistically impossible.

We are on this site to have fun in first, not for cheating.

Another comment about kingmaking: Be careful of playing with people who use the same IP address. I made the silly mistake of playing 3 player Puerto Rico with 2 people from the same IP address. They ganged up on me and kept craftsmaning for each other. One player would also choose the smallest ship to ship his goods so his friend could use the largest ship. It was frustrating, and I no longer play with same IP address players.

Do you reported them? It could be good, it is kingmaking :)
