Welcome to Hawaii, a game from Gregory Daigle published by Hans Im Glück !

You are a chieftain, and you have to prove your value by making your realm prosper. To do this, you have to build villages by buying and combining elements you collect on the main island. Many strategies lead to victory in the very nice and tactical game.

Board Game Arena would like to thank Hans im Glück and Gregory Daigle for this online adaptation. Hawaii game is already available in German, and an English version by Rio Grande Games will be available soon.

EDIT Jan 9th: for technical reasons Hawaii will be unavailable for few days, starting today.
EDIT Jan 11th: Hawaii will be back this Friday :)

This game is good, but we need an English rules summary on the page.

Does anyone know if there are English rules for this game online? Thank you!

This online version of the game would be better if you actively had to choose for the place tiles where there is a choice. A prompted choice without a default option would flow more like the actual board game which I've played. In the actual board game, you would never actually pick the wrong one by accident and not be able to place it in the row you intended, more specifically, you would be able to say, oh, I meant that one. Maybe allow a different choice before placement?

If you're still looking, you can download a PDF from Rio Grande http://www.riograndegames.com/games.html?id=409
