Board Game Arena

You join a table and wait for the game to start, that might be for several minutes, the table administrator starts the game and then everybody waits for everybody else to "Accept"... but then one person doesn't Accept, and everybody is left waiting... and waiting.

My question: Why not count somebody who fails to press the Accept button within a reasonable time as a Quit? Same as though he quit during the game?

Also, there's no easy way for the table administrator to eject the player who is not responding to the call to Accept.

It happens when someone disconnect before accept a game also, would be better if you've only 60 sec for accept,,,

I agree. This is really annoying and makes it difficult to start games.

I think Oso's suggestion is great. If a player doesn't accept within 60 seconds, they should be automatically booted so someone else can join.

Just continue to have the Expel function when you are waiting for Accept.

How about that idea of charging the violator who exceeds 60 seconds with a Quit?

Well... this is not the spirit of the service. Even if it is better to explicitely leave a game, you have the right to join a game, then to close your browser 10mn later because no one join. With the new button this shouldn't be an issue anyway.
