Evo - Board Appears Empty When Watching Game in Progress

I am not able to see the pieces on the board when watching an Evo game in progress. The list of player moves appears onscreen, and I can hear the sound effect when a move is made, but the board remains empty.
I am running Windows 7 Professional and have the latest version of Java installed.
I have tried three different PC browsers with the same result:
Internet Explorer 11.0.9600
Firefox 45.0.2
Chrome 50.0.2661
