Puerto Rico-Noble- building placement

Originally, buildings of 'the Nobles version' should be placed on main board without subtraction nor substitution. Eight Noble-version buildings should be placed with other selected commercial buildings. How about restoring this rule in Puerto Rico?

When you play with "New Buildings" and "Nobles" you can't add ALL buildings.

All Puerto Rico games starts with 4 buildings of Lv1, 4 of Lv2, 4 of Lv3 and 5 big buildings. Production buildings always be the same.

You can select "Draft" (people can choose the buildings), or "Random" (random buildings).

So, if you block both expansions, you will play the base game like always.

Well, Of course not all 'the new buildings' are added. But all 'the nobles buildings' are different. They should be added without subtraction, cause it is the original rule of 'the Nobles'

Do you have a link for this?
In the version of the rules I used as reference, the nobles buildings are drafted.

I refer to the German rulebook of the whole game (base game + 2 extensions). It says indeed that the buildings of "The nobles" are added (this is underlined in the rulebook) to the other buildings - these may be the builings from the base game or the result of the drafting with extension 1.

But I must admit that this could be written clearer.

Thanks DrKarotte.
I checked again the rulebook in English from the Ravensburger Puerto Rico page that I used for reference and it says:
GAME SET UP & GAME PLAY
• Building and plantation tiles: Place the new buildings + the basic game
buildings (+ the 1st Expansion buildings, if using) above the game board in four
columns, sorted by cost. Take turns picking buildings for the game board, as
described in the 1st Expansion rules.
It's not ambiguous, and it feels more logical this way: otherwise where would you add the noble buildings if all the game board buildings space where already filled? Outside the board? That would be strange. If that was the intent, a game board expansion would likely have been provided.

So I think the current implementation is correct.
