Colt Express: seeing other players' cards

I play Colt Express offline, and I wanted to give it a go here. I chose a turn-based game, and it didn't work well for me. The reason is that all the cards played in the schemin phase are just put in a pile. So if I'm not online, which I probably won't be because I'm playing turn-based not real-time, I have no idea what my opponents are doing. In the physical game, you should be able to see others' cards except if you're in a tunnel phase, and make your decisions accordingly. Without that, the game just seems random (and tunnels / secret plays have no advantage!)

Is there some interface I'm missing that would allow me to look through the face-up cards played so far? If not, what are people doing to get round this? Do you just play real-time games only, or what?

The game should have a log at the right of the screen. Arrows at the bottom of the log will expand it until the beginning of the game. Clicking on any player's name in that log should replay the game from that point.

I haven't played Colt Express personally, but I'm sure I would have heard of this before if it were impossible to see other's schemin'.

Thank you, Jest. I think that's probably the answer and I'll have another go at the game and see if I can use the logs in that way.

The difficulty with the log is that it's just a list and you can't see the actions as they occur. It's not so bad for the scheming phase, but hard to follow in the action phase as you can't know where the players and tokens were when the actions happened. Playback is too fast to follow. What I'd like is to be able to step through the actions one at a time, pausing at each step until I press a key.
