Is there a profanity filter?

If there isn't I sort of understand why, as it might be hard to program filters for so many different languages. Perhaps if we could make personal lists of words that we could XXXX in chat?

I haven't seen it much in the casual games that I play, but it does rarely come up. I ask this because I have friends in real life (shocking I know) who are hesitant to let their children play on BGA for fear of what they might see in the lobby or in game chat. As a parent myself I can completely sympathize. I suggested to them that their children just play with "friends" for now.

Anyway. I was just curious. Thanks.

I'm not aware of any filter. I also don't think I've ever seen anyone bring up the issue with children - hmm. But I think your suggestion for them just to play with friends is a good one, for now. Maybe you can come up with a list of players that you think are safe and who would be willing to play with them.
