Board Game Arena

For a given game, give 1 point to the player country that is in 20th, 2 pts for 19th...all the way up to 20 points for first (so if a player from France is ranked number 1, France gets 20 points)
Then, like the Olympics, (only 1-20 instead of Gold Silver Bronze), have a chart showing how many #1's each country has, how many #2's, etc to #20's, followed by the total points for each country - like a medal standings.

Also a possibility - have the overall 'medal standings' sortable into subgroups - i.e. click on a button and it only shows points for abstract games or family games, or whatever sub groups are available.

Would something like this be possible?

but i think it is worth pursuing a way to automate this (especially with the expansion in the number of games ... and not just because i would count a gold for Canada in Metromania lol).

I did post this suggestion before - with no real response in three years, though, I had hoped a repost might start the ball rolling again - I hadn't seen those manual ones - thanks for that!! This does seem like something relatively attainable (easy for me to say, since I have no real idea how to do it myself )
