Hi, i am playing Takenoko (#27995486)
it is the last turn, my opponent finished. I am trying to draw a plot objective, and it says that it is already done. I try and i try, and i get always the same message. I know there are plots objective unrealized and not in the player hands. so i don't understand why i can't draw anyone...

nope, only the yellow diamond is left unrealized ... and your opponent has it in hand.

using turn 220:

completed on the board:
all the pink solo plots are done (diamond, hook, line, triangle)
all the green solo plots are done (diamond, hook, line, triangle)
the yellow pink and green pink combo plots are done
the yellow hook is done

in your hand:
yellow triangle
yellow-green combo

unknown (1 drawn to opponent's hand from their final turn):
yellow line
yellow diamond

you then irrigated at turn 226, but in doing so, you ELIMINATED the yellow line, leaving only the yellow diamond uncompleted on the board.

so, the yellow line was the last plot in the deck and your opponent had the yellow diamond in hand.

what you SHOULD have done was to draw for the plot objective before irrigating. then you would have drawn the yellow line and irrigated for the win.

i cost myself a Takenoko tourney placement yesterday doing a similar goofup. after drawing a panda objective that i knew i could get the bamboo for .. i proceeded to waste a turn on collecting an irrigation to complete a 3point plot .. when using the panda to collect the bamboo for the panda objective that i had just picked up was worth an extra 2 points .. which would have swung the game from a tie (losing on bamboo) to a 2 point win. so, while i sympathize, last turn carelessness is not the game's fault

Hi. there is something i don't understand here.
the hook cards have not been played. So it means that if a plot objective is "completed" on the board, you can't draw the objective card ?

That was not my understanding of the message. i thought it was about only cards left in the deck...
so i knew the objectives were realized so i wanted to draw the corresponding card to get the points... now i understand it is not possible.

In the rule book for the game it calls this rule an advanced or expert variation of some kind. BGA only plays with this rule active. Same with gardener if you eat a bamboo to make a 3 stack you can draw the 4 objective but had you done objective first it would have shuffled it under and went to the next.

And, to pick nits...
The rule book specifies this as an objective completed in the garden. Therefore, you should be able to draw panda eating objectives no matter how many pieces you have eaten.

Hi this is my first time playing takenoko, and I have a question on the plot objective, I arranged it according to the shape without rotating or anything but I still cant fulfill the objective, does anyone know why is that?

All fields have to be irrigated.
