Popular italian checker

Hi everybody!
I'm a new by and I didn't found this argument in other topics.
I like play checkers and I didn't know there are more than one version and an international official one. I thank you to let me know it.
I also discovered that the rules I've always played are known as "english checker". But there is a difference: I've always known that a pawn cannot capture a checker.
I discovered that official italian league has removed this rule many years ago but people usually still use it.
Can you insert an "old Italian" version for checker? You can also include the old but still used 'huffling rule": capture is mandatory and if a player forget to do this, opponent can take away the pawn or checker that should have made capture.
